About
Focus Physio began due to the founder, Kira’s, passion for helping people who struggle with the long-term effects of a concussion. Kira works full-time as a physical therapist specializing in treating concussions in her Montana-based clinic. She decided that she wanted to take her knowledge to the online world to help more people recover from concussions, no matter their location. Concussions do not always happen in big cities with lots of resources but can happen in small rural towns and areas that have limited access to proper care. Thus, forming Focus Physio— a virtual PT clinic for concussion rehabilitation.

Virtual physical therapy does not differ from in-person physical therapy as much as one might think. I can offer all the same services for my virtual patients as I can for in-person patients, outside of manual (hands on) based treatments. Research, however, supports exercise and education interventions just as effective or even more effective as hands on treatments.

Focus Physio is a virtual physical therapy clinic and all sessions will be offered via Telehealth. However, I are physically located in Missoula, Montana. If you are located in Missoula, reach out and I may be able to set up a session in person.

If you are not physically located in a state listed below, I can still offer some forms of treatment. Still reach out and we can discuss what this may look like.

A prescription is not needed to begin services however, depending on your state you might need one to continue with treatments. We can discuss this at your free consultation call.

Focus Physio is an out-of-network provider and will not accept insurance. I can provide an invoice to be sent to insurance companies to allow you to submit for reimbursement, however this is never guaranteed.

Focus Physio accepts credit card and debit transactions with all major companies as well as HSA/FSA cards.

Yes! I am a physical therapist in an in-person orthopedic clinic. I treat a range of injuries, specializing in lower body including knees, ACL, and sports injuries. Reach out if you would prefer to book a general orthopedic appointment.
